TED Conference 2011 – Johnny Cash Project

We’re now a few days into the TED conference 2011. I’ve been keeping an eye on their blog from the event. There has been a couple of things that have caught my eye and I cannot wait to see the talks that will be posted online.

Learning Score

Having watched this video on the learning score website, I think it looks fantastic although I haven’t tried it yet. One lecturer said to me the other day that lesson plans are dry documents whose main purpose is now to satisfy the needs of inspection.

Shouldn’t they be a tool to aid plan learning and help construct creative lessons that inspire students? I’m hoping ...

Ok Go

I know this isn’t exactly education related (although music and media students will enjoy). I think this is genius. Ok Go are well known for a previous video (Here it goes again) where they used 8 running machines very creatively. This is their latest video for This too shall past. Each time you watch it you see more and more new things. Fantastic.
