Google Docs add pivot tables to spreadsheets

Google docs never fail to astound me with the amount of functionality and collaboration options that are available for free. I find myself using this more and more, with a  decreased reliance on machine based Microsoft office packages.

Chris Anderson from TED gave a great talk about the power of web video. It is a fantastic talk with a very moving end. I have to say I had goosepimples and a lump in my throat when seeing the inspiring voice of Christopher Makau and the work that they are doing in Kibera.

Twitter posts appearing in Facebook page

I know some people in the College are now using Facebook to communicate with their pupils, and if you aren’t then why not? It is their main communication tool with each other, so if you want to communicate with them on their level then Facebook is definitely one of the avenues to look at.
