My name is Graeme Redshaw-Boxwell and I am the Development Officer in the Educational Development & E-Learning Team. I have been working here since September 2013. My main focus is on the University’s implementation of ePortfolio. I am also involved with the online assessment and feedback project. I lead on the development of Open Badges at the University, and am currently very interested in the ethical use of learning analytics to support and enhance the student learning experience.
Previously I was the Learning Technology Coordinator at Sunderland College and the Chair of the RSC e-Learning Forum
Some of my main interests include:
- Virtual Learning Environments
- Open Badges
- Learning Analytics
- Web2.0 / Social media stuff. – You can follow my tweets here, my delicious bookmarks here, and my linked in profile here. I’m interested in synergies that some websites can bring such as IFTTT.
- Audio – My initial background is in music production so I really enjoy seeing different uses for audio. I was very interested to see the Sheffield Hallam University/JISC project called Sounds Good that looked at audio feedback.
I also have a keen interest in web design, and have my own website design company, Boxwell Web Design.
